Realization....
And I think I can now categorize myself into that lot. Please have some patience and read to what an extent a stupid can think. Rather I must frame it this way. The extensibility of stupid thinking.
Few days’ back a thought flashed across my mind. I think this question could be put in front of GOD to answer. And in my opinion GOD must give it a thought .Perhaps there should be a bill passed in GOD’s chamber and the voters should include human beings from all spheres…
Well, the bill should be as follows:
Considering the fact that the average age of a man is 60 years GOD must give him option of picking up 30 days of his life which he would love to relive.
If you think 30 days is a small time then please pick up a pen and try to jot down 30 days of your life which you would like to relive. I tried doing that and to tell you the truth I barely made it to 30. Please do it before proceeding any further. Because only then the stuff that’s about to follow will carry any meaning. Please do it. It will hardly take you 10 mins.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
I hope you have listed down those 30 days which you feel were “THE BEST DAYS”.
Just try this out. To my amazement out of approximately 9125 (25 yrs * 365 days in each year) days that I have lived for so far, I could barely pick up 30 days which I would like to relive. And that corresponds to 0.32 % of the total number of days I have been living on this planet with all my loved ones around. This question has been puzzling me since then.
I can hardly understand why is it so??? Perhaps you can answer that……………………………………………….
Now just imagine if this is ever implemented i.e. GOD giving us the chance to pick up those 30 days of our lives which we would like to relive, then what will happen.
Drawback 1: Suppose GOD will grant us the permission to relive those precious 30 days of our lives .After reliving those wonderful days again, human beings would develop the tendency to revolt asking for more number of days to live because only then will he realize the importance of life which he has forgotten in everyday’s marathon to achieve name, fame and success.
Drawback 2: Even if GOD will protest against our will to grant us 30 more days to relive we would never be satisfied. And our greedy minds would search out for all possible means to deviate from the Bill that was passed.
And above all what I could conclude is that GOD is no big a fool. He too must have thought about the above proposed bill. But then he would have decided against it. Because he would never want us spoil and create a mess down here on earth for longer than we are suppose to be here…

SLEEP...............................................................
Every Monday I think that it should have been a weekend so that I could join some course that will help me kill my free time. Every Monday I think I should be joining some gym or aerobics to reduce the extra bulging flab’s here and there. The whole week is spent with building up that runway on which my aimless life could take off. And the moment weekend arrives I get so busy with sleeping that even 24 hrs a day seems to be less. You can’t blame me. It’s the Bangalore weather. One just feels like sleeping the whole day.
I am just wondering if I am the only species who does so. Is there anyone else who shares the same feeling?
Few months back I was watching Boss’s Day Out in NDTV where they were interviewing SAP’s Managing Director Late Ranjan Das (http://www.ndtv.com/news/videos/video_player.php?id=1142559). There were two things that caught my attention.
1. He shared the same name as that of mine.
2. At 42 he was one of the most accomplished people by being the MD of SAP India.
His interview clearly showcased that he was a man who followed his time table very well. And he apart from doing justice to the position held was constantly and regularly involved in taking care of his health. For short term though but definitely he was an inspiration for me. I started jogging and targeted to be fit and healthy.
A sudden shocker came when one morning I read that he died because of a heart attack. It was hard for me to digest that. I thought him to be one of the fittest guys for his age. And he dying of a heart stroke was not an easy thing to digest. Moreover I had started jogging keeping him an inspiration. After trying to find out the real cause I found out that he died because he didn’t have proper sleep. He just slept for 4-5 hours a day. I struck gold.
I realized that sleeping is the best thing that one can do to during weekends. Benefits?
a. One doesn’t do any harm to anyone by sleeping. No fowl words. No fowl acts.
b. One can dream of anything one feels like. I leave it to your imagination. ;-)
c. One can save money by not going out in a city which is damn costly for nothing.
d. Most importantly your health.
e. By Sleeping for long I don’t go out on bike and thus at least on weekends I am not contributing in polluting the environment.
So guys let’s take the SLEEP Mantra forward and Sleep for as long as possible. Let’s Sleep sleep and SLEEP to make this world healthier and cleaner one.

Alumni of KV 2 SVN, Vishakhapatnam
All KV No.2 SVN Vishakhapatnam Alumni
Let me give a short introduction. I am an alumnus of this school and had passed out in 2001. I was in the Science stream and currently I am working for Oracle India Pvt. Ltd.
For quite some time I was thinking to pay back to the school in whatever little way possible. And the reason for me to publish my opinion is the same. I am taking this initiative and have couple of ideas which I feel would be nice to start with.
- For students in class 9th and class 11th :
Motive?: I had joined the school in 9th standard and to be true that was the turning point for whatever little I have achieved today. I believe this is the right time when one can be molded to achieve greater heights. Moreover I have seen that the average students in school have done really well going forward in their careers.
Why? : I believe that the students who are doing well and who are the toppers have their own way to motivate themselves to do better. The idea here is to target the average students to achieve higher and better results. For example to bring in a student from the 65 % marks to 85 % marks level.
How? : Needless to say this requires consistent efforts from the students and the teachers as well. To start with I am ready to contribute Rs. 5000 for a student of class 10th and a student of class 12th each after their board results are out. These two students would be judged based upon their rise in performances from class 9th and class 11th to class 10th and class 12th respectively.
Who? : The selected students will be decided by the school principal and the panel of three teachers (Maths, Science, and Literature) who has to agree upon that common student from class 10th and class 12th.
- Motivation :
Motive? : To bring in the alumnus who have their experiences to share to motivate the young budding students.
Why? : During school days students generally look out for people who are settled outside the teaching world for their motivation. They fail to understand the role that the teachers play knowingly or unknowingly that leave an everlasting memory in their lives.
How? : I will try to reach out to the alumnus so that whenever they are in the city they can be there in the school to give some sort of a motivational guidance to the students. This will be done by coordinating with the principal and the alumnus in a way such that the normal schooling hours are not disturbed and in a way that the student’s studies are not hampered.
Who? : The alumni
At this juncture I just have these ideas to start with. Hope that you will be kind enough to put across your thoughts and ideas to me so that we can take this forward. I believe that if I get support from you I alone can drive it forward.
I hope to hear from you with your inputs. A quicker response means I can start working towards it really fast.
All the suggestions are welcome.
